At Sardi’s Peruvian Chicken - the beloved family-owned chain known for its delicious and authentic Peruvian recipes - we’re leveling up our look. We recently unveiled a rebrand, a new website, and a flagship restaurant location in Clinton, Maryland. With 15 locations across three states, the rebrand aims to create consistency throughout the brand, communications, and our stores.
A Fresh Start for Sardi's
Since the inception in 2008 by cousins Phil E. Sardelis and Phil G. Sardelis, Sardi's Chicken has grown to 15 locations in Virginia, Maryland, and Pennsylvania. We serve millions of new and returning customers each year, offering authentic Peruvian chicken and a variety of Latin and South American specialties.
To ensure a modern and cohesive look across all their locations, Sardi's has partnered with Ironmark, an omni-channel marketing solutions provider, for a complete makeover. This includes new colors, logo and graphics, and signage that reflect our authentic Peruvian roots.
A User-Friendly Online Experience
The newly launched website, SardisChicken.com, offers a seamless online experience for customers. They can now easily view menu items, specials, locations, catering options, careers, and company history. In addition, the website makes it simple to place online orders and purchase gift cards. This user-friendly platform showcases the updated brand identity while staying true to Sardi's Peruvian roots.
Investing in a Better Future
According to Sardi's owner, Phil E. Sardelis, the focus of the rebrand is not just on the company's external appearance but also on investing in the company internally. "We spent many years focusing on the growth of the company, opening new stores and expanding. Those years were spent building our brand. Now, our goal is to bring consistency across our locations and update our brand. We want to focus on becoming a better company to work for, a better experience for our customers, and to overall invest in our company internally and externally," he said.

The new flagship location in Clinton is the first to feature the new design, giving customers a chance to enjoy the revamped atmosphere. Phil E. Sardelis, says, "Our aim was to provide the same genuine experience to all our customers at every location, along with modernizing our restaurants and our website. With our rebrand and our new website, we want customers to be able to easily navigate what we have to offer."
To kick off the excitement of the rebrand, website, and flagship restaurant, Sardi’s is hosting a Grand Opening event at the new Sardi’s location in Clinton at 8900 Woodyard Road on Friday, May 19th from 11:00 AM - 3:00 PM. During the event, Sardi’s will be offering free giveaways of promotional items with their new branding including backpacks, hats, reusable souvenir cups, magnets, and lanyards.
